Lewis & Clark High School Commons Addition
Spokane Public Schools | Spokane, WA
EVCO updated and integrated innovative systems for this historic high school.
The Lewis & Clark High School project for Spokane Public Schools includes renovations to existing classrooms and a new two-story complex, including a cafeteria, commons area and nine new classrooms. A skywalk over Howard Street connects the new building to the rest of the historic high school, built in 1912.
EVCO Integrated Solutions was awarded this project and a variety of systems were designed and installed.
A Rauland Borg® Critical Communication system was integrated with Lewis & Clark High School’s legacy Rauland system. A new IP system was installed in the new addition and was integrated with the Rauland system for general paging and critical communication needs.
EVCO also installed an integrated sound and audio-visual system in the new commons addition to enhance student’s learning and educational experience.
In classrooms, students use a Crestron® AV system integrated with existing school devices to aid professional teaching and learning experiences for the students.
